Glossary Glossary-4 ADP 3-19 31 July 2019 navigation warfare Is deliberate defensive and offensive action to assure and prevent positioning, navigation, and timing information through coordinated employment of space, cyberspace, and electronic warfare operations. (JP 3-14) negation In space operations, are measures to deceive, disrupt, degrade, deny, or destroy space systems. (JP 3- 14) offensive space control Offensive operations conducted for space negation. (ADP 3-0) warfighting function A group of tasks and systems united by a common purpose that commanders use to accomplish missions and training objectives (ADP 3-0).
