Additional Information for Shoulder Screw Additional Information for Shoulder Screw

Shoulder screws, also known as shoulder bolts or stripper bolts, are a type of screw that have a cylindrical shoulder section between the head and the threaded portion. The shoulder section is larger in diameter than the threaded portion and provides a bearing surface or a stop for other components.

Shoulder screws are commonly used in applications where precise alignment or spacing is required. The shoulder section allows for accurate positioning of components, while the threaded portion allows for secure fastening.

These screws are often used in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and electronics. They can be made from various materials such as stainless steel, alloy steel, or brass, depending on the specific application requirements.

Shoulder screws are available in different sizes, thread types, and head styles to accommodate various needs. They can be purchased from hardware stores, online suppliers, or industrial supply companies that specialize in hardware and abrasives.
