A long straight wooden item of approximately 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches (38.1 millimeters to 50.8 millimeters) in diameter, fabricated in sections of equal length. Generally, the forward end of the first section is equipped with a round wooden block, and the other section ends provided with suitable nonsparking couplings. When assembled it is used to push and tamp dynamite into a blasting hole. Excludes TAMPING, ROD, SOIL TESTING.
