Additional Information for Recessed Washer
A recessed washer is a type of washer that is designed with a countersunk hole in the center. This allows the washer to be recessed into the material it is being used with, such as wood or metal. The purpose of a recessed washer is to provide a flush surface when used with a screw or bolt, preventing it from protruding and creating a smooth and finished appearance. It also helps distribute the load evenly and prevent damage to the material being fastened. Recessed washers are commonly used in various applications, including furniture assembly, cabinetry, and construction projects.
