Volleyball Net

A volleyball net is a piece of equipment used in the sport of volleyball. It is a mesh net that is stretched across the width of the court, dividing it into two equal halves. The net is attached to two vertical poles or supports on either side of the court. The height of the net is different for men's and women's volleyball. In men's volleyball, the net is set at a height of 7 feet 11 5/8 inches (2.43 meters), while in women's volleyball, the net is set at a height of 7 feet 4 1/8 inches (2.24 meters). The net is designed to be sturdy and durable, allowing the ball to pass over it during gameplay while still providing a barrier to prevent the ball from hitting the ground on the opposing side.
