Azimuth Telescope

An azimuth telescope, also known as an altazimuth telescope, is a type of telescope that is designed to measure the altitude and azimuth angles of celestial objects.

The altitude angle refers to the vertical angle between the object and the observer's horizon, while the azimuth angle refers to the horizontal angle between the object and the observer's reference direction (usually north).
