A liquid or powder composition that colors porous or nonporous material such as wood, snow, and the like. It may be transparent or translucent. It may be a dye dissolved in water, alcohol, or in toluene liquid. It may be a mixture of colored pigment, drying oil, and thinner, or a mixture of colored pigment or dye and varnish.
