An item designed to be fired at from a specified range during the practicing with or testing of firearms such as pistols, rifles, and the like. It consists of a centrally located aiming point, usually black in color, with graduated squares used for determining correction of windage and elevation adjustments. It is designed to determine the weapon's proper aiming sight alignment for medium and long range performance while being fired at from a closer range. This allows the point of impact of the bullet to coincide with the line of sight of the shooter. This item is most commonly made from paper. Excludes: TARGET, SILHOUETTE AND TARGET, BORESIGHTING.
