An item used in anesthesia procedures to absorb carbon dioxide. Inspiration and expiration are each through separate tubing, and expiration only through carbon dioxide absorber contained in a canister. It permits changing the anesthesia from the carbon dioxide absorption method to the straight flow method without removal of the absorber canister from the apparatus, or detaching tubes or inhaler from the patient's face.
