An item designed for use in reusable surgical stapler. It is available in three varieties: intraluminal, thoracic-abdominal, and gastrointestinal. The first two varieties consist of a staple cartridge, an anvil, and a drive mechanism. The third variety consists of a staple cartridge and a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism in all three varieties is designed to drive and clinch surgical staples into tissues when actuated by the surgical stapler.
