An item of metal and/or insulating material having internal threads designed to fit over the end of electrical conduit and/or fittings to provide a smooth interior with a rounded edge to prevent damage to the insulation of the wire or cable emerging therefrom. It may be designed to fit over the end of thin wall conduit, and to be fitted with holding (staking) screws, or it may be provided with internal straight threads for attaching to thick wall electrical conduit or fittings. It may be fitted with a temporary knockout cap (bushcap), and grounding or bonding facilities.
