Overload Protector

A resistive component with a temperature coefficient which keeps a positive value. It is designed to provide an overload protection to an electric/electronic circuit. In case of an overload it reduces the current flow to a small residual value which switches the circuit off as the internal conductive paths of the component are interrupted by means of heat.
