A fabricated device specifically designed to be attached to the bottom edge of a mechanically operated door. The device has an internal sensor. When the device contacts an obstruction during the closing of the door, the internal sensor makes contact with the door opener and this will cause the door to reverse direction to the full open position, preventing injury and/or damage.
