A clip formed from resilient wire stock into a shape resembling the letter U, with each of the prongs having one or more curvatures along its length. It is designed to hold itself in place by its inherent spring action when fitted into the groove(s) or notch(es) of the item upon which a part, shaft, pin, or a like item is to be held in place.
