A threaded item having an eye on one end designed to accommodate a hinge pin, or a pin inserted at right angles to the shank. It must have an adjusting nut assembled on the threads. The end of the threads may be headed, or a cap nut or similar device attached to prevent disassembly of the adjusting nut. It may also have a washer, collar or retainer assembled between the nut and hinge mounted end. Includes items having a bracket or lug mounting.
