A hand tool consisting of a straight, round stick (pole) made of a suitable nonconductive material with a tool fixed to one end. The other end may be plain or have a butt mounting device fixed to it. Various types of attachments (hooks, rings, and bands) may be fixed to the body. It is designed for use in the repair and maintenance of live high voltage aerial lines.
