A group of components in a single unit designed to be used with a CONTROL (2), COMMANDERS SIGHT AND RECEIVER-TRANSMITTER, LASER RANGING. It contains electronic circuitry that serves as a pulse forming network to generate and control voltages for a flash tube (which stimulates a ruby rod in the laser cavity). It also cantains range counters (electronic), range storage, and portions of the built-in test circuitry (performs internal checks to show that the laser, range finder is functioning correctly).
