A device used to test aircraft and associated test objects for precipitation static electromagnetic interference (EMI). It induces a localized, high voltage static charge onto the outer skin of the aircraft (or other test article) to simulate actual atmospheric precipitation static conditions that may occur when flying through harsh changing weather conditions such as ice, snow, sleet, cloud and sand storms.
