It may have such mounting facilities as a threaded hole or an arbor hole for application on flexible shaft or arbor mounted machines. Tools may be solid steel with integral teeth in rows forming a spiral from the top to the bottom, or disk shaped hubs constructed to accommodate removable teeth segments, or tack inserted bands.
