The F-550 Mobile Adjustable Ramp System (MARS) can be augmented with the Modular Extension Ramp (MER) to enhance its capabilities. The MER provides an additional 48 inches of linear deck surface to each extension ramp, expanding the MARS ramp's breaching capability to 80 inches.

Each ramp comes equipped with an internally stowed extension, allowing for maximum reach and clearance for the vehicle's front end. The MARS is capable of reaching its maximum height with full extension in 10 seconds, providing rapid response times for critical operations.

The F-550 Mobile Adjustable Ramp System (MARS) is constructed using premium materials such as aircraft-grade aluminum, high-strength steel, and stainless steel fasteners to ensure optimal durability and longevity. The MARS ramp's surface is made from GripStrut Safety Grating, which boasts exceptional slip resistance and exceeds the US Federal Spec RRG-1602A requirements.
