A carrier with a specifically designed driven tracked trailer. The units are coupled by an articulated joint through which a drive shaft supplies power to the rear unit. The front unit can be detached from the rear unit for independent operation. Steering is accomplished, when coupled, by a relative displacement of the two units through hydraulic cylinders.
