A heat transfer device designed to lower compressed air temperature to an acceptable level by passing it through tubes and flowing ducted ram air over the tubes, heat of the compressed air is transferred to the ram air reducing the temperature. Consists of a sheet metal housing with ram air connection(s) with or without ducts, a tubular type core, inlet and outlet ports. May contain a shutoff valve.
