SECTION I. General 7-1. General. The powertrain consists of a CD850-6A two-speed forward, one-speed reverse, automatic transmission which delivers power to two final drives to drive the tracks. The CD850 transmission houses the steering mechanisms and brake bands. The transmission provides the tank with a neutral steer capability which allows it to turn in its own radius by driving one track forward and the other in reverse. 7-2. Assessment Procedure. a.
