TM 9-2350-260-20-1-2 PURGE FUEL SYSTEM (2D ENGINE) (Sheet 1 of 2) TOOLS: 7/16 in. combination box and open end wrench Flashlight PERSONNEL: Two REFERENCE: TM 9-2350-260-10 PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE: Remove upper engine access cover (page 16-44) PURGING: 1. Using wrench and flashlight, reach through access and loosen fuel filter bleed cap (A). 2. Set FUEL PUMPS switch to ON (TM 9-2350-260-10). 3. Set MASTER CONTROL switch to ON (TM 9-2350-260-10. NOTE If no air bubbles are observed in step 4, go to step 7. 4. Observe for air release bubbles from bleed cap (A). 5. Set MASTER CONTROL switch to OFF (TM 9-2350-260-10). 6. Wait approximately one minute, then repeat steps 3 and 4 until a constant fuel flow is observed from bleed cap (A). 7. Using wrench, tighten bleed cap (A). 8. Set MASTER CONTROL and FUEL PUMPS switches to OFF (TM 9-2350-260-10). Go on to Sheet 2 TA148085 7-10
