Using 1-1/2 inch wrench, remove tube end fitting ) from adapter (H). 9. Using hands, displace tube (K). 10. Using 1-5/8 inch wrench, remove adapter (H). 11. Using automotive wrench, remove valve assembly and spacer ring (L). Throw spacer ring away. TEST: 1. Using heat source (A), heat container (B) of clean water to boiling. 2. Using ruler, measure overall length of valve at room temperature. Write down overall length of valve. 3. Using wire, wrap one end tightly around threads (C) of valve. 4. Place valve in boiling water just so valve is covered. Let free end of wire hang over edge of container. 5. After about 30 seconds, use free end of wire to take valve out of water.
