TB 9-2300-378-14 NOTE A suitable washing vat can be fabricated using the following suggested procedures: (a) (b) (c) Obtain a 55 gallon drum, approximately 23 inch diameter and 34 inch high. Thoroughly clean out drum (steam clean). Remove one end of drum (preferably the end with plugs in it). Minimum height of drum must be 23 inches. Obtain a length of 5/8 or 3/4 inch water hose sufficient to cover cut edges of drum. (d) (e) Split water hose lengthwise and position on cut edge of drum.
