General Preventive maintenance for the conventional air induction system is the systematic care, inspection, and service of equipment to maintain it in serviceable condition and detect faults and failure before extensive and time-consuming repairs or replacement are required. Not all possible repairs are described in these instructions. Those that are will be referenced in the PMCS. For items not referenced and are not self-explanatory, refer to the appropriate TM-20 technical manual. Procedures The PMCS table is set up to be performed by organizational personnel QUARTERLY and should be assisted by the crew. For vehicles equipped with top loading air cleaners; perform PMCS table 3-1, for vehicles equipped with side loading air cleaners, perform PMCS table 3-2. 3-1
