TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 FRAME 50 1. 2. 3. 4. NOTE Main bearing caps (1) and bearing saddles (2) are called by numbers one to seven counting from front to rear of crankcase (3). Number five main bearing cap (1) is marked with the num- ber 5. Put number five main bearing cap (1) on number five bearing saddle (2). Mounting holes in number five main bearing cap must line up with screw holes in number five bearing saddle. Coat two bolts (4) and washers (5) lightly with engine lubricating oil. Put in and hand tighten two bolts and washers. Using torque wrench, tighten two bolts (4) to 80 to 90 pound-feet. Using torque wrench, tighten two bolts (4) to 115 to 120 pound-feet.
