TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 FRAME 45 1. 2. 3. NOTE Seven main bearing caps (1) are line bored with crank- case (2). If any main bearing cap is damaged, the crank- case and all main bearing caps must be thrown away. Bearing bores (3) are called by numbers one to seven counting from front to rear of crankcase (2). Using dial indicator, measure inside diameter of number two bearing bore (3). Inside diameter must be 3.9370 to 3.9380 inches. If inside diameter of number two main bearing bore (3) is not 3.9370 to 3.9380 inches, throw away crankcase (2) and get a new one. NOTE New crankcase (2) will come with new bearing caps (1). If diameter of number two main bearing bore (3) is 3.9370 to 3.9380 inches take out two bolts and washers (4), and take off number two main bearing cap (1). GO TO FRAME 46 4-69
