TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 6-4. CONNECTING ENGINE TO DYNAMOMETER, NOTE In order to join engine to the dynamometer, it may be necessary to use different types of adapters or fittings other than shown. If fittings are not available, tell machine shop to make them. 1. Take out oil gage rod (1). 2. Put two hose clamps (2) on outlet hose (3). 3. Put one end of outlet hose (3) on engine water outlet (4) and other end on test stand return tube (5). Push two hose clamps (2) to ends of outlet hose and tighten. 4. Put two hose clamps (2) on inlet hose (6). 5. Put one end of inlet hose (6) on engine water inlet (7) and other end on test stand supply tube (8). Push two hose clamps (2) to ends of inlet hose and tighten them. GO TO FRAME 2 6-19
