WARNING Starter (3) weighs fifty pounds. Be careful to hold it up firmly when putting it on mounting studs. Starter could fall and cause injury to personnel and damage to equipment. Hold starter (3) in place up to flywheel housing ( 2). Aline starter mounting holes (4) with flywheel housing studs (5) and push start- er straight into place. Hold starter (3) in place until soldier B puts on lockwashers (6) and nuts (7). Put on three lockwashers (6) and three nuts (7). Tighten three nuts to 140 to 150 pound-feet.
