FRAME 1 Soldier A Soldier B NOTE Some engines have one or more shims (3) between generator (1) and mounting bracket (2). If shims (3) were taken out during removal, they must be put back. 1. Put generator (1) in place on mounting bracket (2). Hold it until soldier B puts in mounting bolts. 2. If shims (3) were used, put in correct number of shims. Put in two bolts (4) with two washers (5). Put on two more washers and two nuts (6). NOTE Some engines use cotter pins (7). 3. If cotter pins (7) were used, put in two cotter pins. GO TO FRAME 2 5-218
