Wear limits are same for both kinds of main bearing half. Readings must be within limits given in table 4-16. If readings are not within given limits, throw away all 14 main bearing halves (1 and 2) and get undersize main bearing kit. 1. Measure thickness of all 14 main bearing halves 2.
