TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 FRAME 2 Soldiers A and B Soldier A Soldier B WARNING Flywheel (1) is very heavy. It should be lifted into place by two persons. After flywheel is in position, it must be held firmly until mounting bolts are put in. Failure to do so may cause injury to personnel and damage to equipment. CAUTION Mating surfaces of crankshaft flange (2) and flywheel (1) must be clean and free of raised metal which could keep flywheel from being properly seated. 1. Lift flywheel (1) and flexible plates (3) up to flywheel housing (4). 2. Aline scribe marks on flywheel (1) and flexible plates (3) and slide them onto pilot bolt (5). 3. Hold flywheel (1) and flexible plates (3) in puts in five mounting lockbolts (6). 4. Coat six lockbolts (6) with engine oil. Put place while soldier B on scuff plate (7). Put in and hand tighten five lockbolts. 5. Take out pilot bolt (5). Put in and hand tighten other lockbolt (6). GO TO FRAME 3 5-82
