TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 5-10. OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY, OIL PUMP TUBES, AND OIL PAN. a. Oil Pump Assembly. NOTE The oil pump for engine LDS-465-2 looks differ- ent than oil pump for other engines. This task is the same for all oil pumps. 1. Put oil pump (1) on dowels in front bearing cap (2). 2. Mesh gear teeth of oil pump drive gear (3) with teeth of oil pump idler gear (4). 3. Put in three self-locking bolts (5). Tighten bolts to 48 to 58 pound-feet. GO TO FRAME 2 5-47
