TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 FRAME 9 1. 2. 3. CAUTION Main bearing lower halves and main bearing caps were marked during removal. They must be put back in the same position and facing the same way. Failure to do this will result in damage or wear to engine. Coat four main bearing caps (1) and four main bearing lower halves (2) with oil. Put four main bearing lower halves (2) into four main bearing caps (1). Put four main bearing caps into cylinder block (3). Put in eight cap screws with washers (4). Tighten eight capscrews (4) to 80 to 90 pound-feet. Tighten eight capscrews to 120 to 125 pound-feet. GO TO FRAME 10 5-17
