TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 FRAME 3 NOTE The number four main bearing lower half (1) is called thrust main bearing lower half. It is different from other main bearing lower halves because it has flanges (2). 1. Coat thrust main bearing lower half (1) with oil on both sides. NOTE The number four main bearing cap (3) is called thrust main bearing cap. It is different from other ing caps because it has a thrust shoulder (4). 2. Put thrust main bearing lower half (1) into thrust main bearing cap (3). 3. Put thrust main bearing cap (3) in place on engine block (5). Put in two cap screws with washers (6). Do not use torque wrench at this time. GO TO FRAME 4 5-11
