FRAME 1 NOTE Main bearing upper halves were tagged during dis- assembly and must be put back in the same saddle they were taken from. 1. Oil both sides of six main bearing upper halves (1) and main thrust bearing upper half (2). 2. Put six main bearing upper halves (1) into six main bearing saddles (3). Put main thrust bearing upper half (2) into center saddle (4). 3. Check that oil hole (5) in main bearing upper halves (1) and main thrust bearing upper half (2) are alined with oil hole (6) in bearing saddles (3 and 4). GO TO FRAME 2 5-9
