WARNING Dry cleaning solvent is flammable. Do not use near an open flame. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby when sol- vent is used. Use only in w en-ventilated places. Fail- ure to do this may result in injury to personnel and damage to equipment. Check that gasket surfaces at bottom and at rear of cover scratches or burrs. Fix minor damage with a fine mill file dipped in dry cleaning solvent. If more repair is needed, Check that timing pointer pin (2) is not loose, cracked or If pin is damaged, get a new cover. (1) have no nicks, or crocus cloth get a new cover. damaged in any way Check that stud (3) does not have stripped or damaged threads and is not damaged in any other way. Fix minor thread damage with a thread chaser. If more repair is needed, take out stud and put in a new one. TO FRAME 2 4-609
