They are numbered from one to seven counting from front to rear. Using micrometer, measure diameter of number one main bearing journal (2). Take measurements as close to front and rear end of main bearing journal as possible. Note measurements. Note the smallest of two measurements taken in step 1 and number of journal that it was taken on (to be used in frames 21, 22, 23, and 24).
