FRAME 1 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Check that clutch disk drive hub (1) has no worn splines and looseness on driven plate (2). Check that there are no broken or missing damper springs (3). Check that there are no loose pins (4) holding retainer plate (5) to driven plate (2). Check that clutch disk facing (6) is not burned, loose on driven plates (2) or damaged in any other way. Check that clutch disk (7) is not cracked or worn. If clutch disk (7) is damaged, throw disk away and get a new one. Measure thickness of disk facing (6) at several dates. If thickness is less than 0.350 inch, throw disk away and get a new - one. GO TO FRAME 3 4-514
