TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 4-56. CLUTCH AND TRANSMISSION DRIVE PLATES. a. Cleaning. (1) Engines LD 465-1, LD 465-1C, and LDT 465-1C. FRAME 1 1. 2. WARNING Dry cleaning solvent is flammable. Do not use near an open flame. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby when sol- vent is used. Use only in well-ventilated places. Fail- ure to do this may result in injury to personnel and damage to equipment. Eye shields must be worn when using compressed air. Eye injury can occur if eye shields are not used. Clean clutch pressure plate (1) assembly with dry cleaning solvent. Dry pas- sages by blowing them out with dry, compressed air. CAUTION Never let dry cleaning solvent, grease or oil of any kind touch clutch disk facings (2). Clean clutch disk facings (2) with a wire brush. Clean drive hub (3) with a clean rag soaked in dry cleaning solvent. END OF TASK 4-511
