TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 FRAME 2 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Check that bearing (1) turns freely without being too loose or damaged in any way. If bearing is damaged, get a new one. Check that lip of seal (2) is not torn, hard or brittle, and that seal is not damaged in any other way. If seal is damaged, get a new one. WARNING Dry cleaning solvent is flammable. Do not use near an open flame. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby when sol- vent is used. Use only in well-ventilated places. Failure to do this may result in injury to personnel and damage to equipment. Check that grooved pulley (3) has no cracks, breaks or rough grooves. Fix minor damage with fine mill file or crocus cloth dipped in solvent. If more repair is needed, get a new pulley. Check that arm assembly sleeve bushing (4) has no nicks or burrs and that sleeve bushing fits snugly in arm assembly (5). Fix minor nicks or burrs with fine mill file or crocus cloth dipped in solvent. If more repair is needed or sleeve bushing will not fit snugly in arm assembly, get a new sleeve bushing. Check that arm assembly (5) is not cracked or damaged in any way. If arm assembly is damaged, get a new one. GO TO FRAME 3 4-504
