TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 (2) Inspection and repair. NOTE Air compressor shown is for engine LDS-465-2. Procedure is same for all engines. FRAME 1 1. Check that air compressor (1) has no nicks, burrs or raised metal. Fix small nicks, burrs or raised metal with a fine mill file. 2. Check that air compressor (1) has no cracks or other damage. If compressor is cracked or badly damaged, take off pulley assembly (2), intake air cleaner (3), and discharge manifold (4). Refer to para 4-49a (1), para 4-49b (1), and para 4-49c (1). Throw away compressor and get a new one. END OF TASK 4-473
