TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 (3) Inspection and repair. NOTE Engine LDS-465-2 is the only one which needs inspection and repair. FRAME 1 1. Check that intake elbow (1) has no damaged threads, nicks, burrs, and raised metal. Fix minor damage with a fine mill file. 2. Check gasket mounting surface of intake elbow (1) for warpage. If surface is not completely flat, work surface across a sheet of crocus cloth on a flat surface. If surface is badly warped, throw away intake elbow and get a new one. 3. Check that intake elbow (1) has no cracks or other damage. If elbow is cracked or badly damaged, throw it away and get a new one. END OF TASK 4-462
