TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 b. Air Compressor Intake Air Cleaner. (1) Removal. NOTE If working on engine LDS-465-2, go to frame 2. For all other engines, go to frame 1. FRAME 1 1. NOTE Air discharge housing (1) may look different from the one shown. Procedure to take off intake air cleaner (3) is same for all compressors. Take out screws and lockwashers (2). Take off air cleaner (3) and throw it away. Take off air cleaner gasket (4) and throw it away. NOTE Two different models of intake air cleaner (2) have been used. Early model could be taken apart to change ilter inside. Late model gannet be fixed and must be replaced. Early model is no longer available. END OF TASK 4-459
