TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 (4) Assembly and replacement. NOTE For engine LDS-465-2, go to frame 4. For all other engines, go to frame 1. FRAME 1 1. 2. NOTE Replacement air compressors are fitted with protective cover (3), cover gasket (4), and slotted nut (5). If putting on a replacement compressor, do steps 1 and 2. If putting on used compressor, go to frame 2. Take off four push-on nuts (1) and rivets (2) and take off protective cover (3) and gasket (4). Throw away nuts, rivets, cover, and gasket. Take off and throw away slotted nut (5). NOTE Self-locking nut taken off during disassembly will be used instead of slotted nut (5). GO TO FRAME 2 4-453
