If readings are not within given limits, throw away part and get a new one. 1. Measure inside diameter of bore in outside pulley (1). 2. Measure inside diameter of sleeve bearing (2) in outside pulley (1). 3. Measure outside diameter of pulley hub (3). 4. Measure fit of pulley hub (3) into sleeve bearing (2). If fit is not within given limits, throw away item with the most wear and get a new one. 5. Using spring tester, measure free length, maximum solid height, and load pulley spring (4) at 2.000 inches.
