TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 b. Inspection and Repair. FRAME 1 1. Check intake manifold elbow assembly (1) for cracks using magnetic particle inspection equipment, if available. If magnetic particle inspection equipment is not available, check for cracks using magnifying glass and strong light. 2. Closely check for cracks around four bolt holes (2) and two threaded fittings (3). If cracked, get a new elbow assembly (1). 3. Check that threads in two fittings (3) have no damage. If damaged, repair threads in fittings with tap or by putting in threaded insert. END OF TASK 4-443
