Check that exhaust adapter flange (2) is not warped and has no burned areas. If flange is damaged, get a new exhaust adapter (1). Check that exhaust adapter flange (2) has no nicks or burrs. Take out small nicks or burrs with a fine mill file. If more repair is needed, get a new exhaust adapter (1). Check that three lockplates (3) have no dents or cracks. Take out minor dents. If more repair is needed, get new lockplates. Check that six screws (4) are not stripped or crossthreaded. If screws are damaged, get new ones. END OF TASK 4-440
